Brief description:
The passive house as a zero-energy house. Electricity for the geo-thermal heat pump is generated from the photovoltaic system (on the balcony railings upstairs). The house was built from solid timber with exterior thermal insulation, triple insulating glazing, Uglas=0.5 W/m²K, and exterior sun protection against excessive heat in summer.
