Not so long ago a provisional timber floor - the so-called "framing ground" - was hammered together on the premises.

Nowadays we work with computer-assisted machinery, which takes all the data and uses it to create the cutting plan. With this data the beams are cut precisely, notches and bore holes can be placed, and the wood is planed simultaneously. Therefore, the processing time is reduced to a respectable fifth or eighth of the time needed to make it by hand.
